According to David Hume, the idea of identity it is not in the “I”, but in the sense of permanence that we give to objects and that is reflected in ourselves. We are collectors of perceptions and the results of that relation is the identity that defines us as individuals.

Through the search for the meaning of certain objects belonging to my parents, and the establishment of relations between them, I rebuilt his personal history; with the relation of the objects of my parents and mine, I answered some questions and generated new ones that allowed me to learn the basis that have shaped my identity.

Según David Hume, la idea de identidad no se encuentra en el «yo», sino en el sentido de permanencia que le damos a los objetos y que se refleja en nosotros mismos. Somos coleccionistas de percepciones y el relacionarlas da como resultado la identidad que nos define como sujetos.

A través de la búsqueda del significado de ciertos objetos pertenecientes a mis padres, y el establecimiento de las relaciones entre ellos reconstruí su historia personal; luego, al relacionarlos con objetos míos respondí ciertas preguntas y generé nuevos cuestionamientos que me permiten conocer las bases que han dado forma a mi propia identidad.
